The Officer Street Survival Training, Deputy James F. McGrane is a non-profit organization. The goal of this organization is to provide Law Enforcement with the additional training needed, so they have the knowledge and skills to stay one step above those who choose to break the law, and challenge our officers.
This advanced survivor skills training is not offered as a standard course for law enforcement officers in the academy. It is not part of the basic curriculum. The additional tools and knowledge provided is invaluable to saving the lives of law enforcement, and others.
This additional training is expensive, therefore a significant amount of private funding, which comes from different fund raising events, is necessary so this training can be provided to the officers at no cost to them.
James McGrane Sr. and Rita McGrane are the parents of the late Deputy James (Jimmy) McGrane Jr., and founders of this organization.
